The first specialized agricultural session "We are the owners of the Earth!" completed

The first shift was attended by about 100 schoolchildren from Aleksandrovsky, Andropovsky, Apanasenkovsky, Arzgirsky, Grachevsky, Kochubeevsky, Krasnogvardeisky municipal districts; Blagodarnensky, Budennovsky, Georgievsky, Izobilnensky, Ipatovsky, Kirovsky urban districts. All the guys are members of the Student Production Teams.

Stavropol State Agrarian University for 60 years was the main initiator and organizer of the meeting of student production teams.

In 2021, the event slightly changed its format, but it also remained the main educational platform for schoolchildren in grades 9-11.

The organizers were:

Ministry of Education of the Stavropol Territory;

Regional center of ecology, tourism and local history;

Stavropol State Agrarian University.

The educational program was implemented by the best professors and teachers of Stavropol State Agrarian University. Within a week, the guys immersed themselves in the profession, learned the intricacies of the work and were able to determine the priority direction for themselves.

The weekly program was divided into main topics:

Innovative technologies in plant growing and horticulture,

Modern ecology, landscape architecture and forestry,

Engineering technologies in the agro-industrial complex,

Innovations in veterinary medicine and in the production and processing of animal products,

Economics, finance and services in agribusiness.

Schoolchildren were able to try different professions and specialties: landscape designer, ecologist, plant breeder, foreman, inventor and rationalizer, forester, mechanic, livestock technologist, veterinarian, fruit grower.

The teams got acquainted with innovative technologies in the agricultural sector of the region, took direct part in research at the faculties of the university.

In addition to the educational block, the children visited the cultural and historical places of the regional capital, learned more about the history of their native region and enjoyed the beauty of Stavropol. The schoolchildren visited the museum and exhibition complex "Russia - My History", the Stavropol State Historical, Cultural and Natural Landscape Museum-Reserve named after G.N. Prozritlev and G.K. Prave, Stavropol Botanical Garden named after V.V. Skripchinsky.

Students - activists of Stavropol State Agrarian University accompanied teams from the districts, held sports and entertainment events for them, which taught the schoolchildren to work harmoniously and opened the world of students from the other side.

At the close of the first shift, the schoolchildren were presented gifts and certificates.
