IV All-Russian (national) scientific-practical conference among students, graduate students and young scientists

At the faculties of veterinary medicine and biotechnology, the IV All-Russian (national) scientific-practical conference among students, graduate students and young scientists was held: "Promising developments of young scientists in the field of veterinary medicine, production and processing of agricultural products."

The head of the basic department of private animal husbandry, selection and breeding of animals, Doctor of Biological Sciences Evgeny Nikolaevich Chernobay made a welcoming speech to the conference participants. Thanks to the capabilities of the library, on the basis of which the conference was held, the speakers spoke both in face-to-face format and remotely using "Zoom". In total, 9 reports were presented.

The conference was attended by:

"Federal Agrarian Scientific Center of the South-East", Doctor of Agricultural Sciences Ekaterina Ryashitovna Gosteva with a report "Technological and physicochemical indicators of milk of cows of different genotypes",

Candidate of agricultural sciences Violetta Aleksandrovna Dunina with a report "Fattening and meat qualities of large white pigs in purebred breeding",

Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education Saratov State Agrarian University named after N. I. Vavilov Ellada Viktorovna Petrosyan, a 4th year student of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Food and Biotechnology, made a presentation "Lactose Intolerance among Domestic Animals",

Employees of the All-Russian Research Institute of Goat and Sheep Breeding - branch of the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution "North Caucasian Federal Research Center" Daria Dmitrievna Evlagina, Ekaterina Dmitrievna Karpova, Tatyana Yurievna Saprikina made reports on allelic polymorphism of genes associated with the milk productivity of sheep, the relationship between the metabolism of fatty acids in blood lipids and the level of immune reactivity candidate genes associated with sheep birth weight.

The reports were also presented by the student of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Sergei Arturovich Zatikyan and students of the Faculty of Biotechnology Mikhail Sergeevich Pozhidaev, Ekaterina Sergeevna Rudyakova, Tatyana Aleksandrovna Goncharova.

The results of the conference were summed up by the head of the department of production technology and processing of agricultural products, doctor of agricultural sciences, professor Olga Vladimirovna Sycheva, associate professors of the basic department of private animal husbandry, selection and breeding of animals Vladislav Evgenievich Zakotin, Evgeny Ivanovich Rastovarov and Maria Evgenievna Ponomareva.

As a result of the conference, a collection of scientific papers was published, including 47 articles. The interest in the conference is especially emphasized by the fact that not only young scientists from different parts of Russia take part in it, but also our colleagues from the Vitebsk Order "Badge of Honor" State Academy of Veterinary Medicine, the Republic of Belarus.
