Implementation of the additional professional advanced training program "Technology of in vitro micropropagation of fruit and berry crops"

The program "Technology of in vitro micropropagation of fruit and berry crops" provides an opportunity to improve education and acquire new skills and abilities for specialists from companies in the agro-industrial complex. The purpose of the training is to improve the efficiency of each employee individually and the entire company as a whole. The program was implemented within the framework of strategic cooperation between Stavropol State Agrarian University and the RSAU-Moscow Agricultural Academy named after K.A. Timiryazev.

The goal of the program is to qualitatively change the professional competencies required to perform professional activities within the framework of the existing qualifications. The program is implemented within the framework of the main educational program 35.03.04 - "Agronomy".

In the course of training, students receive the theoretical and practical foundations of plant micropropagation processes:

Methods and stages of in vitro micropropagation;

Arrangement and equipment of biotechnological laboratories;

Creation and maintenance of sterile conditions;

Compositions and methods of preparation of nutrient media.

Lectures and practical sessions will be held for several weeks. After the final certification, all participants in the program will be awarded certificates of advanced training.
