The "Congress of Young Scientists" began its work in Sochi

The Congress of Young Scientists has become one of the most notable events of the Year of Science and Technology in Russia, the finale of a large campaign in support of Russian science and education. The organizers of the Congress are the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Coordinating Council for Youth Affairs in Science and Education of the Presidential Council for Science and Education and the Roscongress Foundation. Stavropol State Agrarian University is represented by a delegation of 11 people.

The congress is taking place on the territory of the Sirius educational center in the city of Sochi, it brought together representatives of leading scientific schools from different regions of Russia, scientific and educational organizations, authorities, industrial partners, outstanding leaders of domestic science, and most importantly - young scientists, winners of grant competitions, students and schoolchildren who have achieved significant results in their research.

Acting Vice-rector for scientific and innovative work, Doctor of Economics, Professor Alexei Nikolaevich Bobryshev,

Head of the laboratory for selection control of milk quality at SSAU, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Sergei Aleksandrovich Oleinik,

Dmitry Eduardovich Chervyakov, a specialist in technology transfer of the scientific and innovative training center of the SSAU, postgraduate student of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine,

Diloram Halimovna Kiryakova, engineer of the R&D and technology transfer department of the scientific and innovative training center of SSAU,

Senior Lecturer of the Department of Parasitology and Veterinary Sanitary Expertise, Anatomy and Pathological Anatomy named after Professor S. N. Nikolsky, holder of a grant from the President of the Russian Federation Nikolai Viktorovich Agarkov,

Associate Professor of the Department of Information Systems, holder of a grant from the President of the Russian Federation Irina Vladimirovna Samoilenko,

Postgraduate student of the Faculty of Ecology and Landscape Architecture, Assistant of the Department of Ecology and Landscape Construction Anastasia Shkirya,

Post-graduate student of the faculty of farm mechanization Maxim Anuprienko,

Student of the Faculty of Electricity, winner of the competition "UMNIK Technet NTI" Linara Mazinova.

As part of the business program, round tables, sessions, discussions will be held, where the results of the thematic months of the Year of Science and Technology will be summed up.

Also, educational events will be organized in various areas of research activities.

Rector of SSAU A.V. Trukhachev attended the opening of the plenary session on nature-like technologies, which discussed the advantages and disadvantages of using renewable resources, conservation of natural resources, the current state and risks associated with the spread of nature-like technologies.

As part of the first day, the Agro-Priority 2030 Discussion Platform was held - a global transition to agro-industrial complex 4.0: a window of new opportunities for educational and research programs.
