University Open Subject Olympiad in Logistics

The logistics Olympiad is aimed at improving educational work with students in order to improve the quality of training bachelors, and develop professional competencies.

Stavropol State Agrarian University hosted the University open subject Olympiad in logistics, organized by the Department of Management and Management Technologies. The organizers and hosts of the Olympiad were Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Inna Anatolyevna Semko and Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Larisa Anatolyevna Altukhova.

The Olympics were held in three stages. Forty students took part in the first round. Testing took place online using the “Kahut” survey system. According to the test results, 10 participants entered the second round (solving logistic problems). While the participants of the second stage were solving problems, a game was held with the audience, which consisted in solving logistic problems and puzzles. One player was awarded a diploma in the “Most Erudite Fan” category.

The third round, which included 6 participants, was held in the format of a simulation business game “Building lean production”. The work of the participants performing the tasks of the game was assessed by a competent jury: Doctor of Economics, Professor Andrei Nikolaevich Baidakov, Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor Anton Vladimirovich Nazarenko, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor Svetlana Vladimirovna Levushkina, Candidate of Economics Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor Olga Nikolaevna Grudina, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Dmitry Vasilyevich Zaporozhets.

According to the results of the Olympiad, the winners are:

1^st place - Angela Oganisyan, 4^th year student of the direction of training “Management”.

2^nd place - Anastasia Kostareva, 2^nd year student of the direction of training “Service”.

3^rd place - Vitalina Lubennikova, 3rd year student of the direction of training “Economics of enterprises and organizations”.
