Visit of the delegation of the RSAU - Moscow Agricultural Academy named after K.A. Timiryazev at Stavropol State Agrarian University

During the visit, the delegation examined the material and technical base of the Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization and the University. I got acquainted in more detail with the branded training center of the Minsk Tractor Plant, the Vector 3D prototyping center, the advanced vocational training center, the university assembly hall, the Boiling Point and the university library.

Stavropol State Agrarian University was visited by a delegation of the Russian State Agrarian University - Moscow Agricultural Academy named after K.A. Timiryazev, consisting of: Head of the Department of Tractors and Cars, Doctor of Technical Sciences; Professor, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Otari Nazirovich Didmanidze, Head of the Department of Agricultural Machines, Doctor of Technical Sciences Professor Nikolai Vasilyevich Aldoshin and Ph.D., Associate Professor Nikolai Nikolaevich Pulyaev.

In memory of the working visit, the guests of the university donated two books to the library of SSAU:

- “Vasily Prokhorovich Goryachkin: pages of life”, biography of the famous scientist, mechanical engineer, academician, teacher, creator of the science “Agricultural Mechanics”;

- “To the 120th anniversary of the department Agricultural machines” of the Russian State Agrarian University-Moscow Agricultural Academy named after K.A. Timiryazev (1901-2021), the book is dedicated to the 120-year history of the department “Agricultural machines” of the Institute of Mechanics and Power Engineering named after V.P. Goryachkina RSAU - Moscow Agricultural Academy named after K.A. Timiryazev, from its inception in the bowels of the Petrovskaya Agricultural and Forestry Academy and the Moscow Agricultural Institute. The book tells about the role of Academician V.P. Goryachkina in the creation of the department, and the development of the departments of Moscow Agricultural Academy and in 1865-2021.

On the second day of the visit, the teachers of the Russian State Agrarian University - Moscow Agricultural Academy named after K.A. Timiryazeva gave lectures for students and faculty of the Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization.

Head of the Department of Tractors and Cars, Doctor of Technical Sciences Professor Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Otari Nazirovich Didmanidze spoke about the promising directions of development of the transport system in Russia. In the course of which a comparative analysis was carried out and the most acute problems of the production of tractors in the RSFSR and the Russian Federation were revealed. Otari Nazirovich also presented to all listeners the dynamically developing department of tractors and cars of the Russian State Agrarian University of the Moscow Agricultural Academy named after K.A. Timiryazeva and spoke about the direction of work and potential in scientific activity and areas of cooperation between universities, including on joint scientific projects and participation in conferences.

Head of the Department of Agricultural Machines, Doctor of Technical Sciences Professor Nikolai Vasilievich Aldoshin announced that the department “Agricultural machines” has a history of 120 years, which was organized by Vasily Prokhorovich Goryachkin, who is the founder of a new science – “Agricultural mechanics”. The department “Agricultural machines” is one of the oldest departments at the Russian State Agrarian University of the Moscow Agricultural Academy named after K.A. Timiryazev which is one of the oldest universities not only in modern Russia, but also the third educational institution in Europe. Nikolai Vasilievich spoke about the V.P. Goryachkina; demonstrated the material and technical base of the department and introduced the listeners to the results of scientific research carried out at the department, and then answered in detail all the questions that arose.
