VIII Congress “Innovative Practice: Science Plus Business”

14.12.2021

Within the framework of the VIII Congress “Innovative Practice: Science Plus Business”, representatives of educational organizations, research centers and entrepreneurs considered the civilizational aspects of economic development. In 2021, the theme of the opening plenary session of the Congress is “COVID-19 as a catalyst for the creation of a new global value system in society and the economy”. Then the work continued at expert sessions.

During the VIII Congress, the tracks “HR-territory”, “Territory of technological entrepreneurship” and “Territory of science and culture” were traditionally held. The first persons and leading specialists of large Russian corporations, government agencies, development funds, investment companies, representatives of universities, research institutes, as well as high-tech Russian companies and enterprises are invited to participate in the Congress.

Stavropol State Agrarian University was represented at the Congress by the Acting Rector of the University, Doctor of Economics, Professor Alexander Vladimirovich Trukhachev.

The rector took part in the expert session “Agricultural education as a driving force for the development of human capital”.

The following topics were discussed at the session:

- Systemic transformations of world agrarian education and the place of Russia in this process.

- How will agricultural universities participating in the Priority 2030 program develop human capital?

- From school to the end of a career: elements of continuous agricultural education in Russia.

The speakers were:

Valery Nikolaevich Falkov, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation

Maxim Iosifovich Uvaydov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation

Alexander Ivanovich Trubilin, rector of the Kuban State Agrarian University

Alexander Vladimirovich Trukhachev, Acting Rector of the Stavropol State Agrarian University

Mikhail Grigorievich Balykhin, rector of the Moscow State University of Food Production

Vladimir Nikolaevich Avdeenko, director of the directorate for the development of agro- and biotechnologies of the company “Innopraktika”.

The backbone of the entire education system, including agricultural, is human potential - therefore, within the framework of the expert session, the issues of the development of agricultural education and human capital in the context of the expected changes became key.

Alexander Vladimirovich Trukhachev spoke about the implementation of the Priority 2030 program in Stavropol. The AGROKADRA project has already begun its work - a project of the Institute of Continuing Professional Education of SSAU. This project was the first confident step towards new agriculture, towards an innovative future of the agro-industrial complex.

“As in most historically formed spheres of activity, in agriculture the need for living human labor is inevitably reduced. Automation, mechanization, new technologies inevitably reduce the number of people working in the industry. This is a worldwide trend.

But those who remain must inevitably have other competencies. Therefore, we are talking not so much about a shortage of personnel in some areas, but rather about a shortage of specific skills in the available personnel. The Agrocadre 2030 project will contribute to the saturation of the industry with personnel of such a level of training”, A. Trukhachev said.
