Off-site practice-oriented lesson in the Federal Treasury Department for the Stavropol Territory

Students of the Faculty of Accounting and Finance visited the Office of the Federal Treasury for the Stavropol Territory. The employees of the department introduced the students to the structure and departments of the treasury, the functions of the expenditure and income blocks, and talked about working with clients. Yulia Ivanovna Krylova - Head of the Revenue Department, noted that 2021 has become a special year in the activities of the Department in connection with the transition of the Federal Treasury to a single treasury account.

Marina Nikolaevna Denshchik, assistant to the head of the Department, led the students in the Treasury. The students visited the administrative, operational, legal departments and other structural divisions of the Office. Marina Nikolaevna told that the Youth Council was created in the Federal Treasury, which successfully implements youth policy, actively participating in various public events in the city of Stavropol.

The students also visited the Museum of the History of the Federal Treasury Administration for the Stavropol Territory. Raisa Andreevna Zhiltsova told the children about the history of the Department's development and the people who stood at its origins. Raisa Andreevna herself headed the Department of the Federal Treasury for the Stavropol Territory from 2001 to 2010.

Employees of the Federal Treasury spoke about the activities of the Russian Treasury, the students visited the Situation Center, where they got acquainted with information and analytical resources. Students learned about the conditions of admission to industrial (pre-diploma) practice, familiarized themselves with the requirements for candidates for civil service, possible career prospects.

Following the meeting, the students asked the most pressing questions regarding internships, employment and public life of the Treasury. The event was very interesting, the students became interested in the work of the Office and thanked its staff for the event.
