Stavropol State Agrarian University regularly invites leading experts of various profiles to deliver lectures and master classes. This is not the first time the President of the Association of Veterinary Practitioners has visited the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. As part of the visit, there was an excursion around the faculty, a round table and a lesson for students.
Honored Veterinarian of the Russian Federation, President of the Russian Association of Practicing Veterinarians, Vice-President of the Moscow Guild of Veterinarians Sergey Vladimirovich Sereda examined the territory of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of SSAU, visited the scientific and diagnostic medical veterinary center. The speaker shared his vast and invaluable experience in veterinary medicine.
As part of the lecture “Dialogues about the profession”, Sergei Vladimirovich spoke about the main stages of his career and the importance of the profession of a veterinarian. The students were able to ask the veterinarian questions.
Then a seminar “Veterinary education: problems and solutions” was organized with the participation of employers of the Stavropol Territory in the field of veterinary medicine. In the course of the work, the main problems faced by the veterinary universities of the Russian Federation were touched upon, and the main ways of their solution were outlined.
The meeting ended with the presentation of the book “Habitat: Veterinary Medicine and Not Only”. Sergey Vladimirovich wished the students success and further professional growth.
After the educational seminar, Sergei Vladimirovich was shown the innovative material and technical base of the University.
