Dialogue on a level playing field - meeting with successful entrepreneurs

The project of discussion meetings "Dialogue on Equal" has already become recognizable among students of accounting and finance faculty. The meetings are held annually and interest in them is growing. Dialogue on a level playing field is an opportunity to communicate directly with leading businessmen of the region, to learn their opinion on the most urgent topics, to dispel doubts about starting own business, to set new goals and specific tasks.

Guests of the meeting this year were: Nadezhda Leonidovna Shvalova, founder and head of advertising and printing company "Optima", chairman of the local branch of "Opora Russia" in Nevinnomyssk and Paul Shipov, CEO and owner of PK Keg Service: exclusive distributor of the American company Videojet Technologies (Chicago IL, USA) - industrial labeling; integrator of the "Honest Mark", exclusive distributor of Colamark (Hong Kong, China) - labeling equipment.

The meeting began with a welcoming speech by Liubov Petrovna Stetsyuk, the financial consultant of Sovcombank Life Agency in Stavropol, who pointed out that it would be impossible to work in any profession without the necessary competence and skills. Therefore, holding such meetings encourages many students to turn to the realization of their ideas and projects.

During the discussion, the entrepreneurs shared their own stories of creating their project. Students learned that the main quality of an entrepreneur is courage, because business is always a risk.

To be successful, rich and healthy - according to Pavel, - an entrepreneur needs to be able to delegate and transfer responsibility, because business is about giving others work and organizing them, not about doing everything yourself.

Nadezhda Leonidovna noted that the novice entrepreneur must find himself in the economic space, determine the place and time to organize his business. So before starting a business it is necessary to have an idea about the "environment" or the "general climate" of the business. This is possible if the entrepreneur knows the conditions and possibilities for investing money in various sectors or regions of interest to the entrepreneur.

After the speeches, students asked questions and received competent answers and a number of tips.

The meetings in the format of "Dialogue as equals" are necessary to show students by the example of successful and famous people that modern Russia is a country of opportunities, where you can succeed in any field and in any region, regardless of where you are born and the social status of a young person.
