The medal "For Merit to the Stavropol Territory" was awarded on his birthday to a professor of the Stavropol State Agrarian University

Valentin Vasilievich Ageev is one of the authoritative scientists of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, the North Caucasus and Russia in the field of agrochemistry, agriculture and ecology, known abroad, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, honorary worker of higher education of the Russian Federation. Almost 50 years Valentin Vasilyevich devoted to work at the Stavropol State Agrarian University. He wrote more than 500 scientific and methodological works, which gained fame and recognition not only in the South of Russia, but also in the Central Chernozem region. Currently, he heads the scientific school "Theoretical and Technological Foundations of Biogeochemical Fluxes of Substances in Agrolandscapes".

Professor of the Department of Agrochemistry and Plant Physiology Valentin Vasilyevich Ageev is 88 years old. Employees of the Department of Agrochemistry and Plant Physiology congratulated Valentin Vasilyevich and on behalf of the university leadership presented a well-deserved award - the medal "For Merit to the Stavropol Territory".

More than 20 candidate and doctoral dissertations have been defended under his supervision. Among his students: Dean of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources and the Faculty of Ecology and Landscape Architecture A.N. Esaulko, Deputy Dean E.B.Drepa, Head of the Department of Agrochemistry and Plant Physiology E.V. Golosnoy, Professor Yu.I. Grechishkina.
