Foresight session of the members of the Consortium of the strategic project "SmartAgroBioTech-2030" on the problems of sustainable development of rural areas

The foresight session was held online. Members of the Consortium of the Strategic Academic Leadership Program "Priority 2030" took part in the work: Stavropol State Agrarian University, Kabardino-Balkarian State Agrarian University named after. V.M. Kokov"; Gorsky State Agrarian University; Dagestan State Agrarian University named after M.M. Dzhambulatov.

Prof. Aleksei Nikolaevich Bobryshev, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, Doctor of Economic Sciences, addressed the participants of the foresight with a welcoming speech.

The foresight session was moderated by the head of the strategic project "SmartAgroBioTech-2030 (technological HUB of biologization, animal genomics, digitalization, territorial development)" block "Sustainable development of rural areas", Dean of the Faculty of Economics Olga Nikolaevna Kusakina.

Olga Nikolaevna focused on the tasks related to the formation of the structure and methodological support for the activities of the Interregional Resource Center for the Development of Rural and Specially Protected Ecological Resort Territories of the Stavropol Territory and the North Caucasus Federal District.

The need to form a digital profile of rural areas, differentiated depending on the resource potential, social, economic, natural features, way of life, as well as cultural traditions, was discussed by Sergey Ivanovich Lugovskoy, Associate Professor of the Department of State and Municipal Administration and Law of the Faculty of Economics, SSAU.

Prospects for creating an open digital platform "Business Consultant" were presented by Alexander Tenishchev, Associate Professor of the Department of Entrepreneurship and World Economy of the Faculty of Economics, SSAU.

Dean of the Faculty of Hospitality Service and Tourism, Head of the Department of Tourism and Service, Associate Professor Anna Ivolga highlighted the prospects for monitoring the tourist and recreational potential of the municipal districts of the Stavropol Territory and the North Caucasus Federal District and the problems of developing innovative types of tourism.

Following the meeting, the Consortium participants identified areas of cooperation for the implementation of the strategic project "SmartAgroBioTech-2030 (technological HUB of biologization, animal genomics, digitalization, territorial development)" block "Sustainable development of rural areas" for 2022.
