Scientists of the Stavropol State Agrarian University on an ongoing basis benefit the production

The professor of the Faculty of Biotechnology visited a new dairy farm in the Turkmen region in order to provide advice on the organization of adequate feeding of all sex and age groups of dairy cattle. As a result of a joint acquaintance with the specialists of the KFH with the state of fatness and health of all animals, all types of feed prepared for the winter period for animals were analyzed for availability and quality, and feed rations were studied.

The head of the Department of Animal Feeding and General Biology, Viktor Ivanovich Guzenko, at the request of the head of the farm “Zhivnitskaya”, Yevgeny Alekseevich Kalashnikov, conducted analytical work on a peasant farm. Based on this, recommendations were made to revise existing rations to increase milk yield during milking of cows and in the future in the production of milk after milking and before launch, while maintaining a high content of fat and protein in milk.
