The launch of the analytical system will make it possible to conduct research on the quality of dairy raw materials in the Stavropol Territory at the level of ICAR/IDF world standards. Thus, it will ensure the unconditional leadership of the Laboratory for Breeding Quality Control of Milk of the Stavropol State Agrarian University not only in the South of Russia, but also in the Russian Federation as a whole.

Stavropol State Agrarian University is implementing scientific research as part of the Priority 2030 academic leadership program. The Faculty of Biotechnology is working on the project “Development of an innovative breeding and genetic model for creating dairy herds of Holstein and Black-and-White breeds of breeding cattle in the South of Russia with improved parameters for creating high-quality functional dairy products."

As part of the Milk Laboratory work implementation, Stavropol State Agrarian University is supplying a unique set of analytical system "CombiFoss 7 DC" (CombiFoss 7 DC) from Foss Analytical A/S (Denmark).

During the online conference with the participation of Professor of the Basic Department of Small Animal Science, Breeding and Breeding of Stavropol State Agrarian University, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences Sergey Oleinik, Leading Researcher of Foss Analytical A / S (Denmark) Daniel Schwartz, as well as a regional representative of the company Foss -Electric" Irina Vedyaeva discussed topical issues on commissioning of the instrument-analytical system, organization and conduct of complex scientific research and publication of the results.

Taking into account the unique capabilities of the instrument-analytical system Combifoss 7 DC, the main directions for conducting scientific research in the field of preventive assessment of the health status of cows, assessment of the quality of dairy raw materials and assessment of the effectiveness of dairy cattle in general were agreed upon, based on the analysis of a set of indicators of the interface of a unique analytical system.
