SSAU - became the venue for the regional stage of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren 2021/22 in Economics

The winners of the district stages of the Olympiad in Economics from all over the Stavropol Territory met at the university. More than 50 children passionate about this science tested their level of knowledge and competed for a ticket to the final stage of the Olympiad. The Faculties of Economics and Accounting and Finance became responsible for holding the regional stage of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren in the 2021/22 academic year.

The regional stage of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren in economics for the 2021/22 academic year is held according to the assignments prepared by the Central Subject and Methodological Commission, and the deadlines set by the Ministry of Education of Russia are common for all constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

The students were greeted by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Doctor of Economics, Professor Olga Nikolaevna Kusakina.

The Economics Olympiad was held in offline form in compliance with the sanitary and epidemiological requirements stipulated by the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare (Rospotrebnadzor).

The main goals and objectives of the Olympiad in Economics are: popularization of economic knowledge, identification of schoolchildren with abilities in economic sciences, organization of optimal conditions for identifying gifted students, stimulating their further intellectual development and intensifying the search for professional self-realization, creating motivation for creative activity of students, forming the composition of the strongest schoolchildren of the Russian Federation to participate in the final stage of the All-Russian Olympiad in Economics in the 2021/22 academic year.

The holding of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren serves as an effective mechanism for searching for talanted children, helps not only to identify the most talented students, but also creates conditions for their support, including in continuing education.
