Solemn awarding of environmental activists of the city of Stavropol

Throughout 2021, students of the Faculty of Ecology and Landscape Architecture participated in environmental events at the level of the city, the Stavropol Territory and the Russian Federation. The Loft Youth Space hosted an award ceremony for eco-activists of the regional capital.

So, more than 50 students of the faculty became participants and volunteers of the All-Russian project "Ecodvor" in Stavropol, thanks to which anyone can hand over sorted raw materials for processing. 4th year students Yulia Antipenkova and Anastasia Vasina became the owners of personal scholarships of the V.I. Vernadsky Foundation.

At the initiative of Anastasia Vasina, chairman of the student council of the faculty, and Anna Suchkova, head of the Ecologist student team, students of the faculties of ecology and landscape architecture and agrobiology and land resources collected 363 kg of waste paper and 5.3 kg of batteries for the city environmental competition “Caps. Waste paper. Batteries. And three students of the direction "Ecology and nature management" became participants in a rich three-day program of the city school "GreenCult", aimed at involving students in the environmental movement.

In the Loft Youth Space, a solemn award ceremony was held, where Stavropol State Agrarian University and its activists were awarded certificates and diplomas, and the dean of the faculties of agrobiology and land resources and ecology and landscape architecture, professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Nikolaevich Esaulko was awarded gratitude for organizing and holding the city ecological competition "Caps. Waste paper. Batteries".

In addition, SSAU students were given three special containers for collecting batteries, caps and waste paper, which will be installed on the basis of the Faculty of Ecology and Landscape Architecture.
