Strategic projects developed at Stavropol State Agrarian University as part of the implementation of the Priority 2030 academic leadership program were successfully presented at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow Region and approved for implementation in the region.
Achieving the indicators of the Doctrine of Food Security in the field of animal husbandry is a priority for the development of Russian agriculture, therefore, the strategic projects of the Stavropol State Agrarian University in the field of intensifying the development of pedigree dairy farming, developed within the framework of Agroinnopolis - 2030, aroused particular interest of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow Region.
Projects for implementation in the central region were presented by Professor of the Basic Department of Private Animal Science, Breeding and Breeding of Animals of the Biotechnological Faculty of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences Sergey Alexandrovich Oleinik.
The discussion of promising areas of cooperation was attended by:
· First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow Region Sergey Alexandrovich Novikov;
· Head of the Territorial Veterinary Department No. 2 Yury Anatolyevich Gribov;
· Head of the Territorial Veterinary Administration No. 3 Alexander Gennadievich Luchkin;
· Head of the Territorial Veterinary Administration No. 4 Petr Stepanovich Kvochko.
For consideration, the projects were also provided to the adviser to the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow Region, Ivan Yuryevich Serdyuk.
A delegation from Stavropol State Agrarian University, with representatives of the administration of the Moscow region, visited JSC “Moskovskoe” for breeding work as part of a working meeting. The enterprise discussed promising areas of cooperation between Stavropol State Agrarian University and breeding organizations of the Moscow Region and the Central Federal District. The proposals were made by the General Director of JSC “Moskovskoe” for breeding work Ivan Nikolayevich Yanchukov.
As a result of negotiations and discussions, a Protocol of Intentions was signed to develop terms of reference for the implementation of a promising Agreement on scientific and technical cooperation between the Stavropol State Agrarian University and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Moscow Region, as part of the implementation of the strategic projects “Agroinnopolis – 2030” for the period up to 2030.
Decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated January 21, 2020 No. 20 approved the Food Security Doctrine of the Russian Federation, the need for which was dictated by the conditions of the country’s socio-economic development that have changed significantly in recent years, the emergence of new risks and threats to food security, caused mainly by economic sanctions, introduced by a number of Western countries in relation to Russia, increasing the openness of the national agri-food market associated with joining the World Trade Organization, and deepening integration processes within the Eurasian Economic Union.
