Excursion for schoolchildren as part of the regional WorldSkills championship

For schoolchildren of educational schools in Mikhailovsk and Stavropol, the Faculty of Secondary Vocational Education prepared a number of excursion programs. The guests visited the new building of SSAU, Vector laboratory, Boiling point.

The young talents visited the building of the new building of Stavropol State Agrarian University, where the chic scientific library of the university is located, one of the largest university libraries in Russia, the only specialized library in the region on agricultural topics, modern in terms of technical equipment and comfortable in terms of organizing reader services.

The Boiling Point is a space where representatives of youth and professional communities work on innovative projects aimed at solving the problems of developing the scientific and innovative complex of the North Caucasus Federal District.

The school students visited the Web Technologies site and the FabLab “Vector” Prototype production site. The Center for Youth Innovative Creativity FabLab “Vector” is designed to promote the development of creative engineering thinking in the field of science and technology in children already during the period of schooling.

The special attention of schoolchildren was riveted to the faculty of agrobiology and land resources, as well as to the advanced professional training center, the main task of which is to coordinate the use of material, technical and human resources of educational institutions in the region for teaching children and adults in accordance with the prospects for the development of the economy of the country and the region.

Thanks to the tour of the campus of Stavropol State Agrarian University, future applicants not only visited the training grounds for the Young Professionals Championship (WorldSkills Russia), but also received all the information necessary for admission to the Stavropol State Agrarian University in educational programs of secondary vocational education and higher education.
