Training “Setting goals and ways to find a job” for students of the Faculty of Secondary Vocational Education

The educational block was held as part of the regional championship of professional skills “Young Professionals” (WorldSkills Russia). During the training, the participants worked out the SMART goal setting technology. For practical consolidation, the students independently formulated and wrote several goals related to personal growth, professional self-realization and socially significant activities.

The training was conducted by a student of SSAU, trainer of the Youth Training Center of the Stavropol Territory, administrator of regional and city youth projects Alina Ilyina.

As part of the group discussion of the goals set, the participants were able to independently correct each other and adjust, set the correct vector for further goal setting. In the second part of the training, the participants worked out the internal motives for choosing their profession, identified barriers to personal development as a professional and worked through them, and also studied the labor market.

During this block, the participants were able to choose a further vector of professional self-realization through the “I Want-I-Can-I Need” link.
