Scientific-practical seminar “Experience of personnel policy in military structures and law enforcement agencies of Russia in the 18th – 20th centuries in the system of modern public administration”

On the territory of the exhibition complex “My country. My History” was held a scientific-practical seminar “The experience of personnel policy in the military structures and law enforcement agencies of Russia in the 18th – 20th centuries. in the system of modern public administration”. Stavropol State Agrarian University was represented by the Department of Philosophy and History.

The head of the department, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Evgeny Vasilyevich Tufanov opened the seminar with a report “Personnel policy and the national question in the 1920s. (on the materials of the North Caucasus)”.

Associate Professor Inna Nikolaevna Karpenko took part in the seminar.

The work of the scientific and practical seminar was carried out in several directions:

- the specifics of the formation of personnel policy in Russian military structures and law enforcement agencies at the beginning of the 18th century as part of the transformations of Peter I;

- “Table of Ranks” as an instrument of public administration: problems of universality and efficiency;

- empire and republic: general and specific requirements for the selection of personnel in military structures and law enforcement agencies in the 18th - 20th centuries;

- Experience in training personnel for military structures and law enforcement agencies of Russia in the 18th - 20th centuries: issues of uniqueness and relevance in modern conditions.

The seminar was attended by representatives of the teaching staff of the North Caucasus Federal University, the Stavropol State Pedagogical Institute, the Stavropol branch of the “Krasnodar University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation”, as well as representatives of the structures of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and law enforcement agencies of Russia; military-patriotic, veteran and Cossack organizations; clergy and members of religious organizations; students of higher educational institutions; scientific and pedagogical workers and students of educational organizations; representatives of the professional community of cultural workers.
