Stavropol State Agrarian University celebrated the Day of Russian student teams

Today, the consolidated detachment of SSAU “Agrarian” unites 9 student detachments: the agricultural detachments “Kolos” and “Technologist”, the construction detachment “Masterok”, the pedagogical detachment “Dream”, the veterinary detachment “Aibolit”, the service detachment "Restaurateur", the detachment “Financier”, the detachment “Land surveyor” and the landscape-construction detachment “Landscaper”.

The audience was greeted by the Acting Rector of Stavropol State Agrarian University Valentin Sergeevich Skripkin.

“Student detachments of the Agrarian University are almost a thousand active, hardworking, purposeful guys. Only last year they earned almost 5 million rubles. Our university has been a leader in all-Russian competitions for student teams for decades. At the end of 2021, the university took 2nd place. We aim to ensure that the movement of student teams at the university grows and develops. Replenished with new fighters, including those from other universities. Student teams are strength, power and a huge help for our region and all of Russia. Our doors are always open to everyone who strives to be at the forefront of the country's working life and set an excellent example for the younger generation,” said the acting rector.

By the way, Valentin Sergeevich in his youth also worked in student teams and student brigades. Weeding and harvesting vegetables, vineyards, fruit harvesting, silkworm farms, pig and sheep farms. According to him, it was a romantic, full of work and enthusiasm, time.

At the meeting, the results of the work and prospects for the development of student teams of the region were discussed. The best were awarded.

The ex-commander of “Aibolit” Galina Andreevna Balykova was awarded the badge “For active work in student groups”. Alena Devyataykina, commissioner of the “Mechta”, was commended. Certificates of honor of “RSO” were presented to the commander of “Kolos” Alexander Merkulov, the commissioner of “Dream” Ekaterina Kholstova, the commander of “Dream” Anastasia Kostina. The commissioner of “Dream” Nikita Meshcheryakov and the ex-commander of “Masterok” Ramzan Turaev were awarded letters of thanks.

Recall that the Day of Russian student teams has been celebrated in Russia since 2016. And the movement of student groups itself arose 63 years ago, when students during the summer holidays went to volunteer work in the virgin lands in Kazakhstan, on collective farms and state farms, on construction sites, in pioneer camps throughout the country.
