The Acting Rector of StSAU met with the participants and winners of the regional stage of "Young Professionals" WorldSkills Russia.

13 students of secondary vocational education of the Stavropol State Agrarian University took part in the competitions in different directions. Of them 10 people won awards: 5 gold, 3 silver, 1 bronze medal and a diploma for professionalism.

Valentin Sergeevich Skripkin thanked the guys and teachers for the excellent result.

"You have set a high bar, and I wish you every year not only to hold, but also to raise it. Competitions like this are a great opportunity to prove yourself. When we were students, unfortunately, there were no such competitions. I am glad that you actively participate, try your strength, sharpen your skills. All this helps you to become stronger and more confident, to grow both professionally and personally. For our part we will do everything necessary for this," said Valentin Sergeyevich.

Even now the university has created the conditions for the preparation of not only highly qualified specialists, but also diversified leaders. Victories in the Young Professionals competition have proved this once again.

In particular, young engineers from StSAU in competitions on manufacturing of prototypes took all the podium. according to the results of competitions prize-winning places were distributed between students of faculty of secondary vocational education of StSAU: Mikhail Ushakov - 3 place; Said Magomedov - 2 place, Alexey Bunin - 1 place.

The guys were preparing in operating on the basis of university CMIT "Fablab" Vector ", which is the center of preparation of the national team for participation in the world championship WorldSkills Competition. Vector has everything for this: from 3D printers, laser and milling machines, to experienced mentors who are Russian and world champions.

The best young hotel administrator in Stavropol Krai according to WorldSkills results is also Umar Dzhammaev, a student of StSAU. A month before the competition the guy lost his father, but managed to pull himself together and take first place in the competence of "Hotel Administration". And the judges, assessing the work of Umar, gave special thanks to his teacher - a young scientist, a grant winner of StGAU in the field of science and innovation Irina Dmitrievna Shakhramanyan.

Recall that at the Faculty of Sociocultural Service and Tourism of the Agrarian University also operates a Center for the preparation of the championship. It recreated all the necessary infrastructure of a hotel: reception, hotel rooms. Winners and prize-winners of WorldSkills Russia - graduates of StSAU - also take part in the preparation of children.

Konstantin Grebenkin, a fourth-year student of "Programming and Information Technology" of the Faculty of Professional Education, brought the gold in the competence of "Web-technology" to the Agrarian University. Academic excellence, Konstantin is constantly improving professionally, exploring new directions in IT-technology, is a practicing web-developer, working with an IT-company, regularly undergoes practical training in the Ministry of Agriculture.

The 1st place in the competence "Agronomy" was taken by Sergey Shmatov, a talented, enthusiastic science student of the 2nd year of secondary vocational education of StSAU. His study on "Propagation of orchids by seeds in domestic conditions" was recognized as the best at the international conference. Ahead - participation in the competition of scientific works, which holds Timiryazev Academy.

The winner in "Banking", 2nd year student of St. Petersburg State Agrarian University Vladislav Nikitin was in the lead from the first day of the competition, showing the best knowledge, the ability to hold himself, confidence and ease of possession of banking instruments. From the very beginning the judges understood that he has no equal. In many respects because training in StGAU is conducted in the modern training centers equipped under offices of real banks. The high level of training is also confirmed by the fact that many successful managers and employees of financial structures, both in Stavropol and abroad, are graduates of the Agrarian University.
