At Stavropol State Agrarian University, within the framework of the Vernadsky Foundation scholarship programme, a Russian-wide open online lecture on "Resource Efficiency in Sustainable Development" was held.
The event was organized on the initiative of scholarship holders of the Foundation, fourth year students of the Faculty of Ecology and Landscape Architecture - Antipenkova Julia and Vasina Anastasia, and was supported by the Department of Ecology and Landscape Construction.
The lecture was attended by students of Stavropol State Agrarian University as well as scholars of the Vernadsky Foundation from different Russian cities.
The audience was greeted by Deputy Executive Director of the Vernadsky Foundation for Educational Projects Tatiana V. Agusmanova and the head of the direction "Eco-Education" Stepan Klubov.
The speakers at the conference were:
Stepanenko Elena Evgenievna - Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Ecology and Landscape Construction;
Kulitskaya Olga Yurievna - master of 1 year student of Stavropol State Agrarian University, chief engineer of testing laboratory of the branch of FSBI TSSLATI Ufo-Clady on Stavropol Krai, certified expert of Rosprirodnadzor;
Konstantin Valeryevich Pisarev - 3rd year student, State University "Dubna", Moscow Region;
Yulia Antipenkova - 4th year student of Stavropol State Agrarian University, Vernadsky Foundation scholarship holder;
Vasina Anastasia Eduardovna - fourth year student of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, grant holder of the Vernadsky Fund.
The following aspects were discussed during the event:
1. The concept and basic provisions of the concept of sustainable development.
2. Ownership of natural resources.
3. the efficiency of resource use in the area of sustainable development
4. Control and oversight of natural resources.
5. Sustainable Development Goals related to the use of natural resources.
At the end of the lecture, the speakers answered questions from the audience and thanked the Vernadsky Foundation for the experience and knowledge gained during the preparation of the event.
