The experience of cooperation between educational institutions and enterprises of agroindustrial complex was discussed at the webinar with the participation of agrarian universities of the country.
The Acting Rector of Stavropol State Agrarian University Valentin Skripkin, Vice-rector on educational work Ivan Atanov and the dean of agrobiology and land resources, ecology and landscape architecture Alexander Yesaulko participated in the webinar "The partnership of education, science and business is the basis for successful training of personnel for the innovation economy.
The online meeting was opened by Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Maxim Iosifovich Uvaidov. Speaking about the involvement of business in staff training, he cited the example of interactive classrooms that are being created on the basis of agricultural universities by Russia's leading fertilizer company, Phosagro. The first such educational center has been operating since 2020 in the country's main agricultural university, the K.A. Timiryazev Russian State Agrarian University-Moskha in Moscow.
"We see that when business itself participates in the educational process, the results are much better. In this case, the employer's request, what kind of specialists they need, with what knowledge and competencies, is clearer. Other large enterprises are already participating in this system, following Phosagro's example. We plan to introduce similar experience in all of the country's 54 agricultural universities. As a result, the quality of training in them will grow significantly in the near future," said the deputy minister.
The rector of Timiryazevka Vladimir Ivanovich Trukhachev began his speech with the real results of the integration of education, science and business, which are expressed in a significant increase of production of agroindustrial complex, despite the pandemic, sanctions, etc.
According to the federal center "Agroexport", the largest buyers of Russian food in 2021 were the EU countries. The EU bought $4.7 billion worth of agro-industrial products from Russia, 40% more than in 2020. Production delivered to Turkey at $ 4.3 billion, to China - $ 3.5 billion. The total volume of Russian food exports in 2020 was $ 30.6 billion, and in 2021 - already $ 37.7 billion. Exports of wheat increased, compared with 2020 by 12%, oil and fat products - by 40%, corn - three times.
"This was possible, among other things, thanks to companies such as Phosagro, with whom we cooperate in various areas. One example is PhosAgro's state-of-the-art educational center at our university. It is very much in demand. Groups have to sign up in advance for lectures and seminars. Thanks to the company for this innovation in agricultural education. We have big plans in implementation of joint educational research processes. Have a good trip and success in 2022 for every university with Phosagro," said the head of the Timiryazev Academy.
In addition to equipping classrooms, Phosagro is also implementing the "From Ore to Food" educational program for Russian agrarian universities.
By the way, a Phosagro classroom is already in operation at the Stavropol State Agrarian University.
