Students of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources visited the greenhouse complex "Solnechny Dar"

Students were offered vacancies for technological practice, living conditions and wages in the summer. The management of the main production departments of the Solnechny Dar enterprise expressed gratitude for the visit to the greenhouse complex and hope for further cooperation with the Stavropol State Agrarian University. Students of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources expressed their gratitude for the high level of organization of the meeting and promised to return to the enterprise already in the status of workers.

The meeting began with a conversation between the students and a specialist in personnel training, Uliana Sergeevna Litvin, who spoke about the production processes in the greenhouse complex and offered to taste the products. The guys noted the excellent taste of exclusive tomato hybrids and went to get acquainted with the enterprise.

At the next stage of the excursion, the students were introduced to the chief agronomist of the greenhouse complex, Yuri Aleksandrovich Kuchinsky, who spoke about the tomato production cycle. Yuri Alexandrovich spoke about the automation of microclimate maintenance processes, biological methods of pest control, and the main tomato diseases that the enterprise faces. During the conversation, the students learned about an interesting feature of the greenhouses of the complex - houses with bumblebees, which are directly involved in the pollination of plants. Yury Alexandrovich noted that if all technological processes are observed, the enterprise reaches one of the highest levels in terms of productivity in the country - 80 kg per 1 m2.

After the students were shown the work of the distribution center at the enterprise. The head of production logistics of the distribution center, Sergey Nikolayevich Sinkov, spoke about the ripeness of the tomato for packaging and how this process is carried out. The students got acquainted with the refrigeration rooms and equipment used to pack tomatoes in the form in which the product is sent to the store shelves. Among the partners of the enterprise are such retail chains as Magnit, Auchan, Lenta, Azbuka Vkusa and others. This process is also fully automated and allows you to process a large number of tomatoes for shipment to stores, and a competent logistics system is designed to preserve the freshness of products as much as possible.
