Secondary Vocational Education Faculty’s student is the winner of the regional stage of the All-Russian Olympiad of Professional Skills

The regional stage of the All-Russian Olympiad of Professional Skills of students in the enlarged group of specialties of secondary vocational education 43.00.00 "Service and Tourism" (43.02.10 "Tourism", 43.02.11 "Hotel service", 43.02.14 "Hotel business") took place on the basis of the Georgievsk Technical School of Mechanization, Automation and Management.

Holding All-Russian Olympiads of professional skills is one of the most common forms of work with gifted children in our country and occupies a special place among intellectual competitions. Successful performance at the Olympiad requires a high level of intellectual maturity, sociability, the ability to navigate in an unfamiliar environment and quickly evaluate new information, the ability to concentrate on the task at hand, the willingness to make decisions quickly in a stressful situation. During the competition, the participants were presented with complex tasks of the first and second level. They included translation from English into Russian of a text with professional vocabulary, testing, execution of the invariative part of a complex task at the training site "Reception and Accommodation Services", as well as written solutions to the tasks of organizing the work of the team.
