At the meeting, the head of the department stressed that there are no plans to stop any program for the development of domestic universities.
In particular, the Priority 2030 program will be implemented as planned. In autumn, universities that won grants should report on their achievements for the year and continue to work along the planned trajectory. At least 150 laboratories will be created in universities and scientific organizations.
Two more federal projects - "Advanced Engineering Schools" and "Technological Entrepreneurship Platform" - will undergo competitive procedures in the first half of 2022.
The plans also include a new project “Development of domestic scientific instrumentation”. According to it, at least 42 new Russian devices for scientific research are planned to be put into production.
This year, the employment of at least 5,000 graduates will also be financed. 1.8 billion rubles will be allocated for these purposes. A billion rubles more will be allocated for housing for young scientists. Hostels of more than 100 universities in 78 regions will be overhauled.
The project to create world-class campuses is also expanding. Until August 1, there is a competition of developed projects for the selection of applications for the creation of campuses.
“On behalf of the President of Russia, we must build a network of university campuses by 2030. Today, eight campus projects have been funded and created. I would like to note the successful practices of colleagues from Novosibirsk, Tomsk, Kaliningrad, Chelyabinsk, Ufa, the Urals, Moscow State Technical University. Bauman in Moscow. We have extended until August 1 the competition for the selection of applications of the second stage for the creation of campuses,” said Valery Falkov.
