Closing of the XXI All-Russian football tournament dedicated to the memory of the Hero of Russia Vladislav Dukhin

The final of the XXI All-Russian football tournament dedicated to the memory of the Hero of Russia Vladislav Duhin took place at the Stavropol State Agrarian University. The tournament was attended by the best teams from 11 constituent entities of the North Caucasian and Southern federal districts.

Vladislav Dukhin is a Russian soldier, squad leader of the 6th Airborne Company of the 104th Guards Regiment of the 76th Airborne Division. Member of the fighting in the North Caucasus, junior sergeant of the guard. Hero of the Russian Federation (posthumously). Despite his own injury, Vladislav carried his wounded colleagues out of the fire, but the militants surrounded the positions of the paratroopers from three sides. With aimed fire, Vladislav fought an unequal battle for some time, and only when the paratrooper ran out of ammunition, the militants were able to come close to him. Pulling the pin of the last grenade, 19-year-old Vladislav Dukhin rushed into the thick of the militants, blowing himself up along with them. After 11 days, by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation, Guards Junior Sergeant Dukhin Vladislav Anatolyevich was awarded the title of Hero of the Russian Federation (posthumously).

The solemn ceremony of awarding the winners and prize-winners of the XXI All-Russian Children's Football Tournament dedicated to the memory of the Hero of Russia Vladislav Dukhin took place in the Stavropol State Agrarian University. During tournament matches, 357 goals were scored, 15 penalties were awarded, and the ball hit the goal post 10 times.

Teams in different age categories climbed to the podium. Separately, there were cancellations of individual achievements of team players.

Gratitude for the organization and holding of the All-Russian football tournament dedicated to the memory of the Hero of Russia Vladislav Dukhin was awarded to the Acting Rector of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, Professor Valentin Sergeevich Skripkin.

The sports ceremony was harmoniously diluted with creative performances by the SSAU teams.
