To exchange experience and improve environmental knowledge, students of the Faculty of Ecology and Landscape Architecture, volunteers of the "Ecologist" detachment were invited by the Stavropol College of Economics and Law to the seminar "Environmental Volunteering".
A volunteer environmentalist is engaged in a number of important tasks, among them: the promotion of environmental knowledge and the formation of an ecological culture of the population, informing the public about the state of affairs in the field of environmental safety and the state of the environment, as well as educating and training a citizen who knows how to think environmentally.
Students of the Stavropol State Agrarian University Anna Suchkova, Konstantin Ksimitov, Veronika Antonova spoke at the seminar "Environmental Volunteering" Anna spoke about the eco-volunteer on the basis of the Stavropol Agrarian University, about university and city level events in which she took part with the detachment, Veronika spoke about the project activities of the detachment on the basis of " Anguish boiling ”GAU, Konstantin shared his experience about the activities of the detachment.
The seminar was opened with a welcoming speech by the director of the Stavropol Technical School of Economics and Law, Valentina Alekseevna Bratusina.

About the work of the Stavropol Regional Center for Ecology, Tourism and Local History, volunteering, a presentation was made by the methodologist of the department of environmental education and upbringing of the State Budgetary Institution of Education "Regional Center for Ecology, Tourism and Local History" - Nina Ivanovna Borisova.
Oksana Sergeevna Moskalyuk, public relations specialist of the State Institution "Directorate of Specially Protected Natural Territories of the Stavropol Territory", spoke about specially protected natural areas of the Stavropol Territory and environmental volunteering.
At the end of the seminar, students received certificates of participation from the director of the Stavropol College of Economics and Law. The knowledge gained at the seminar from leading experts in the field of ecology will help in the future to easily solve problems in the field of eco-volunteering.
