The annual regional motor rally "Eh, the front-line path" started on April 8 from the territory of Stavropol State Agrarian University.

On the eve of Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War, students of the order-bearing Stavropol State Agrarian University, under the leadership of the organizers of the rally, travel every year to the territories of the Stavropol Territory, some subjects of the North Caucasus Federal District and the Southern Federal District.

Before the start, a solemn rally was held, which was opened by the acting rector Valentin Sergeyevich Skripkin. He thanked the organizers of the action for their high confidence in starting a patriotic rally for the 8th time from the territory of the legendary agricultural university and attracting students of the SSAU as pilots. The head of the university instructed the guys to take an important task as responsibly as possible.

The coordinator of the rally, an Agrarian graduate, a retired lieutenant colonel of the border troops of the FSS of Russia, a knight of the Order of Courage, a deputy of the regional Duma Viktor Ivanovich Lozovoy thanked the staff of the Stavropol State Agrarian University for their active participation in the action, presented the head of the university with a statuette of Marshal Zhukov and said that during the rally he would pass the Victory symbols and magnets with the symbols of the Stavropol Order of Labor to the greeters The Red Banner of the Agrarian University.

A war veteran, a member of the Union of Writers of Russia, a member of the Union of Journalists of Russia, who worked for 35 years in Stavropol State Agrarian University, Andrei Mikhailovich Krupennikov read his poems about the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

And Major General, former deputy commander of the Transcaucasian Military District for educational work, veteran of the Armed Forces of Russia Vasily Fedorovich Belchenko appealed to unite.

"Today you are launching events that should remind you of the price that the Victory in the Great Patriotic War went to. Then Europe created the most powerful army in the world, which was supposed to finish off our people. And only our great ancestors - by the frenzy of the Russian spirit, colossal exertion of strength and energy, the greatest sacrifices, huge blood - stopped the fascist. Unfortunately, they didn't finish it. Nazism has reared its head again and threatens Russia. The future of the country depends on the guys who are on the front line today (my grandson is among them), and together we must support them. During the rally, you will be able to remind people that the unity of the people is needed today more than ever," Vasily Fedorovich said.

A minute of silence was declared in memory of those who died in the Great Patriotic War. Then they laid flowers at the memorial. And then, under the songs of the war years, a giant (22 meters long and 16 wide) Victory Banner was solemnly unfurled.

Then the organizers and students of the SSAU on rare cars with Victory symbols and signs in support of Russian servicemen in Ukraine set off on a journey to places of military glory. They will have to travel through one and a half hundred settlements of Stavropol and KCR. They should return to the regional center in exactly one month – on the eve of Victory Day.
