Scientific research using the breeding material of the chicken cross "Dominant TsZ"

The vivarium of Stavropol State Agrarian University was organized in 2009 at the Department of Private Animal Science, Selection and Breeding of Animals of the Faculty of Biotechnology. Since then, there has been research work and practice-oriented classes for students, undergraduates, and graduate students. Main areas of research: technology of incubation of eggs, maintenance and feeding of poultry.

This year, scientific research using the breeding material of Dominant TsZ chicken cross and quails is carried out on the topic “Development of effective programs for the use of regionally and economically oriented poultry genetic resources”. The research is supervised by Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Elena Edugartovna Epimakhova and Associate Professor Evgeny Ivanovich Rastovarov. The research is being carried out as part of the implementation of the SmartAgroBioTech-2030 project (Animal Genomics and Biotechnology block) as part of the Priority-2030 strategic academic leadership program.
