The issue about our university will be aired this Friday, April 15 at 8.30.
The program “My Universities. The future belongs to the present!” tells about the leading universities in Russia. In the format of a travel show, well-known actors and TV presenters, together with schoolchildren - tomorrow's applicants - travel to different regions, get acquainted with universities and share their impressions.
“The goal of the project is to show that high-quality higher education can be obtained not only in the capital,” said the head of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science Valery Falkov at the premiere of the program in October last year.
SSAU became the first and so far the only agricultural university to be included in the TV project. The lens captured the educational, scientific, sports and cultural life of the university, as well as Stavropol against the backdrop of March snow and restless wind. Despite the tight time frame, the film crew visited the partner enterprises of the university - the Agrofirm "Village named after G.V. Kaishev" in the village of Suvorovskaya and the Pyatigorsk Dairy Plant. According to the scenario, the presenter milked the cow, so that the sensational Stavropol antique butter, developed by SSAU scientists, was then prepared from this milk at the dairy plant.
“Most of all, Stavropol State Agrarian University will be remembered, of course, for its sincere heroes - specialists in the field of agriculture, livestock specialists, veterinarians. For example, Sergey Aleksandrovich Oleinik and his milk quality laboratory, Elena Edugartovna Epimakhova and sincere students-future poultry farmers, Magomed Kaitov and the BARS dance ensemble, the team of the Pyatigorsk Dairy Plant. And SSAU is also a large number of gastronomic discoveries: sorghum syrups, unabi date jams, healthy buns according to a special recipe, cucumbers straight from the garden, antique butter and delicious milk. Special thanks to the press service and the administration of the university for their help in creating the program. It's great that there is such an amazing university in Stavropol! ”, - said the executive producer of the project Maxim Batishchev.
“We tried to demonstrate the best that we have, but that's not all. Now the university is undergoing large-scale transformations under the Priority 2030 program, which will bring the university to a new level, make it the basis for the development of the region, the basis for training the agrarian elite, capable of introducing the most advanced technologies in the agro-industrial complex. Therefore, we are waiting for smart, bright, talented and ambitious applicants. I am sure that the My Universities program, which turned out to be lively, sincere and dynamic, will only contribute to this,” said Valentin Skripkin, Acting Rector of SSAU.
