Students visited an exhibition of books about the Great Patriotic War

In the scientific library of Stavropol State Agrarian University, an exhibition of literature "Books Scorched by the War of 1941-1945", dedicated to the Great Patriotic War, was organized. The books presented at the exhibition tell about heroism, exploits, fearlessness and love for one's homeland. These are books published between 1941 and 1945. It is on them that one can and should study the true history of the war.

Many works are devoted to the war, its individual episodes and events, heroic, combat and labor feats of soldiers and commanders of the Red Army, home front workers, which the director of the scientific library Marina Vasilievna Obnovlenskaya introduced to university students at the exhibition “Books Scorched by the War of 1941 - 1945”.

After all, war is the oath of the Panfilovites: “Not a step back, Moscow is behind us!”, This is the victory at Stalingrad won by fire and blood, this is the courage of the inhabitants and defenders of besieged Leningrad, this is the tragic pages of the history of the defense of Sevastopol, this is the feat of the heroes of the Kursk Bulge, this is the storming of Berlin, this is the hard work of home front workers, the torment of concentration camp prisoners, this is the memory of the heart of the whole people. The Great Patriotic War has been preserved in the memory of the Russian people as a symbol of grief and misfortune. The victory in this war came at the cost of huge losses.
