Unified open day of the federal project "Professionality" was held in Stavropol State Agrarian University and at the enterprises participating in the project

It was attended by representatives of the university, the Ministry of Education of the region, agricultural enterprises, schoolchildren, their parents and teachers.

The project "Professionality" of the state program of the Russian Federation "Development of Education" is aimed at creating a new practice-oriented system for training middle-level personnel for enterprises in the real sector of the economy. Specialists will be trained on the basis of educational and production centers (clusters) according to programs developed with the participation of employers.

In the Stavropol Territory, Stavropol State Agrarian University became a platform for the implementation of the project. The university won the grant, demonstrating the best performance among the contestants represented by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation. As a result, training on the project for future agronomists, agricultural machinery mechanics, veterinarians and livestock specialists will be opened on the basis of SSAU in 2022. It is these specialists that are most in demand today in the farms of the region.

On the Unified Day of Open Doors in the assembly hall of the new building of SSAU, schoolchildren of grades 8-11, their class teachers and parents gathered.

Representatives of the Ministry of Education of the Territory, the university, enterprises - participants of the project addressed the audience.

“The program allows you to more actively involve employers in training personnel, conduct training on educational programs created jointly with enterprises, using their latest technologies and practical base,” said Valentin Sergeyevich Skripkin, Acting Rector of SSAU.

According to employers, students will spend most of their time at enterprises, where they are then expected to work.

After the solemn part, the participants had a tour of the university, master classes, professional tests. In particular, schoolchildren could put on virtual reality glasses and immerse themselves in the process of learning professions. Those who wish to get acquainted with the training base for livestock specialists and veterinarians, where they were delivered in an organized manner by the transport of the university.

At the same time, the Unified Open Doors Day was held at the enterprises - partners of the project in the Blagodarnensky district, Krasnogvardeysky and Novoselitsky districts. Schoolchildren and their parents got acquainted with the enterprises, talked with potential employers and learned how to get a sought-after specialty in "Professionality".
