Round table dedicated to the 77th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War

Very soon - on May 9, our country will celebrate the Great Holiday - the Holiday of Life, the peaceful sky overhead, the Holiday of Memory and Sorrow, the sad and solemn Victory Day. On the eve of Victory Day, students and teachers of the Faculty of Accounting and Finance took part in a round table dedicated to the 77th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War “How far he was from us...”.

The Head of the Department of Philosophy and History, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Evgeny Vasilyevich Tufanov, Associate Professor Vladimir Ismailovich Kurchev and Deputy Dean for Educational Work of the Accounting and Finance Faculty, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Viktoria Samvelovna Germanova addressed the participants of the round table with a welcoming speech.

During the round table, students of the Accounting and Finance Faculty spoke about the important events of the Great Patriotic War. Angelina Gulova read the poem “Flew from the front of the funeral”.

Vadim Nedobuga, a 1st year student, presented what happened during the Great Patriotic War in the Caucasus. Elena Lobzhanidze, a 2^nd year student, made a report “War is knocking on the city of the Sun”. The story about her great-grandfather Nikolai Ivanovich Kastryulin (1926-2017), a participant in the Great Patriotic War, was shared by a 2nd year student Daria Kastryulin. Veronika Serafimova, a 2nd year student, spoke about how Stavropol endured this difficult time, and Zalina Gappoeva made a presentation on “Rehabilitation of the Karachai people”. At the end, 2nd year student Anastasia Gurkaeva in the song “Cranes” Rasula Gamzatova remembered the soldiers who tragically died during the Second World War and will never return home to their families, will not hug their wives, children, mothers.

There is no such person in our country who has not been touched by the great tragedy of the Great Patriotic War. In every family there were people who gave their lives, gave their childhood, their health, their peace, defending their Motherland. We must never forget these sacrifices and our Heroes!
