The victory of students of the Faculty of Finance in the Interregional Student Olympiad on taxes and taxation

The Interregional Olympiad on taxes and taxation was held on the basis of North Caucasian Federal University. The students of the leading universities of the Stavropol Territory and the Chechen Republic took part in the Olympiad. The competitive process consisted of two stages.

The event was opened by the Director of the Institute of Economics and Management of the NCFU, Doctor of Economics, Professor Lev Isakovich Ushvitsky. He wished the students good luck and noted that knowledge of the tax system would help them realize themselves in any profession.

The first stage included the solution of practical and situational problems, at the second stage the participants worked in teams: they solved a crossword puzzle, considered case tasks, checked the correctness of filling out a tax return.

In the process of intellectual competitions, students demonstrated a high level of knowledge of the theory of taxation, skills and abilities to solve problematic problems.

The names of the winners were determined by the competitive jury of the Olympiad.

Students of Stavropol State Agrarian University are the leaders: Natalya Sergeevna Semenko was awarded a 1st degree diploma for the first place, Alla Andreevna Merzlikina was awarded a 2nd degree diploma for the second place, Ksenia Alexandrovna Belomytseva received a laureate diploma in the nomination “Knowledge of tax legislation”, Maria Andreevna Kachura - a letter of thanks for active participation in the VI Interregional Olympiad on taxes and taxation.

The organizers of the event expressed their gratitude to all the participants of the Olympiad and their supervisors - Head of the Department of Financial Management and Banking Professor Yulia Mikhailovna Sklyarova, Associate Professors of the Department of Financial Management and Banking Tamara Vasilievna Skrebtsova, Elena Anatolyevna Ostapenko.
