The Duma of the Stavropol Territory hosted a ceremony honoring the winners of the federal and regional competitions “UMNIK-2021”

The UMNIK competition is one of the platforms for the implementation of student ideas. Within its framework, the regional scientific and practical conference “Innovative ideas of the youth of the Stavropol Territory - the development of the Russian economy” is annually held - this is a significant event in the life of universities, within which young innovators of the North Caucasus can show high scientific results in various fields.

Over the years of the competition, Stavropol State Agrarian University has become the base platform for participants and judges 7 times. Representatives of the university annually apply for participation and are always in the lead. Since 2006, 125 young scientists of SSAU have become the winners of the competition. Financing of projects throughout the existence of the grant program amounted to almost 52 million rubles.

The regional Duma hosted an awards ceremony for the winners of the federal and regional competitions “UMNIK-2021”. The hall brought together the first persons of the government and the Duma of the Stavropol Territory, the Federal Fund for the Promotion of Innovations, as well as representatives of educational and scientific organizations, including Valentin Sergeyevich Skripkin, Acting Rector of SSAU.

Each university presented its business card, and then the long-awaited award ceremony took place. SSAU students became the winners of the federal program “UMNIK 2021”:

· Margarita Gorokhova, student of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine with the project “Development of ophthalmic medicinal films for the treatment of corneal ulcers” (supervisor – V.A. Orobets);

· Vladimir Odnoprienko, student of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology with the project “Development of an original device with an electromagnetic pulsator to stimulate milk flow and reduce the negative impact on animal health” (headed by D.I. Gritsay);

· Valeria Stepanenko, student of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine with the project “Development of a highly effective agent based on tissue preparations for hepatosis” (supervisor - V.M. Shpygova);

· Kristina Pustoselova, a student of the Faculty of Economics with the project “Development of a bioinformation system for plant diagnostics based on wireless sensor networks technology that increases the productivity of industrial greenhouse complexes” (headed by I.V. Samoylenko).

The following students of the Stavropol State Agrarian University became the winners of the competition in the nomination “UMNIK of the Stavropol Territory 2021”:

· Nikita Vinnikov (EEF) with the project “Development of a crown forming device based on a linear electric drive to increase labor productivity in industrial horticulture” (supervisor – A.A. Yanovsky);

· Anastasia Zhivoderova (FVM) with the project “Development of a synbiotic composition to increase the colonization potential of the normoflora of the gastrointestinal tract of young cattle in the neonatal period of life” (supervisor - N.A. Ozheredova);

· Dmitry Ivannikov (FAiZR) with the project “Development of an interactive land map using the method of integrating databases with web services to increase crop yields” (supervisor – A.V. Loshakov);

· Igor Kalanchuk (EEF) with the project “Development of a crown forming device based on a linear electric drive to increase labor productivity in industrial horticulture” (headed by S.N. Antonov);

· Alexandra Kondaurova (UFF) with the project “Development of software for modeling applications for state support for all categories of agricultural producers” (supervisor – E.I. Kostyukova);

· Ksenia Kravchenko (FAiZR) with the project “Development of technology for the production of apple cider using raw materials growing in the Stavropol Territory” (supervisor - E.A. Mironova);

· Olga Onishchenko (BTF) with the project “Development of an effective quality management system for sheep products” (supervisor – E.N. Chernobay);

· Irina Shahramanyan (FSCS&T) with the project “AgroTour Digital Ecosystem” (headed by A.G. Ivolga);

· Fatima Shidakova (EEF) with the project “Development of an electromagnetic water treatment device to improve the efficiency of heating networks” (supervisor – S.N. Antonov).

In 2015, Vitaly Yuryevich Morozov, Rector of St. Petersburg State Agrarian University, in the recent past Vice-Rector for Science of SSAU, as part of the scientific team, won the first prize of the Governor of the Stavropol Territory in the field of science and innovation for young scientists and specialists.

Since then, 5 prizes have been awarded annually for the results of scientific research that have made a significant contribution to the development of the natural, technical, social or human sciences, as well as innovative developments in various sectors of the economy implemented in the Stavropol Territory. Many winners of the Governor’s Award have a victory in the UMNIK program behind them.

In the hall of the Duma of the Stavropol Territory, the award of the Governor of the Stavropol Territory in the field of science and innovation to young scientists and specialists for 2021 took place. The winners of the award were:

Anton Vladimirovich Nazarenko - Doctor of Economics, Head of the Department of Management and Management Technologies, SSAU for the development and implementation of the principles of development of agri-food markets;

Dmitry Eduardovich Chervyakov – Candidate of Veterinary Sciences, Assistant Professor at the Department of Parasitology and Veterinary and Sanitary Expertise, Anatomy and Pathological Anatomy named after Professor Nikolsky, winner of the UMNIK-2018 program for developing principles for studying the spread of babesiosis in the Stavropol Territory and introducing a set of preventive measures.
