Today, the image of a university graduate becomes a reference point for designing processes and conditions for educational outcomes, the main tool for the development of students and teaching staff. It has become a tradition at the Faculty of Accounting and Finance to hold open discussions with past graduates.
The 2018 graduate of 38.03.01 Economics profile Accounting, analysis and audit, and now KPMG senior consultant Igor Tereshchenko together with lecturers of the Accounting Department, head of the department, Professor Elena Kostyukova, associate professors Marina Feskova and Maria Tatarinova held an open dialogue with the 2nd year students of 38.03.01 Economics profile Finance and credit.
Igor Tereshchenko told about his career path of the international network of firms that provide audit, tax and consulting services - KPMG.
KPMG is one of the Big Four audit firms, along with Deloitte, Ernst & Young and PwC. The students were interested to know what factors to look for and choose the first job, what skills are necessary to work in international companies, the peculiarities of corporate interaction.
The discussion was productive and very interesting. Discovering each student's abilities and developing a personality prepared for life in a high-tech, competitive world - these are important tasks, which are achieved, among other things, during open discussions with professionals in their field.
