Intellectual game-quiz "Its Ecology", as part of the Week of NTI faculties

The intellectual game "Your Own Ecology" was held among first-year students of the directions "Ecology and Nature Management" and "Landscape Architecture" as part of the week of faculties in NTI. The National Technological Initiative is an association of representatives of business and expert communities for the development in Russia of promising technological markets and industries that could become the basis of the world economy.

In the modern world, the task of attracting the attention of the public, especially the younger generation, to the state of the environment, environmental safety and biodiversity conservation becomes a priority.

The hosts of the event - Polina Bychikhina, a 3-year student of the 1st group of Ecology and Nature Management and Denis Kurochkin, a 2-year student of the 3rd group of Landscape Architecture called on the participants of the game to unite their efforts in the fight against environmental problems.

The correctness of answers and performance of tasks were judged by a jury composed of: Chairman of the committee: Tamara Georgievna Zelenskaya, Head of the Department of Ecology and Landscape Construction, Associate Professor, Ph.D.; members of the committee: Lyubov Vasilyevna Maznitsina, Deputy Dean for academic work of the Faculty of Ecology and Landscape Construction, Associate Professor of Chemistry and Plant Protection, Ph, Elena Stepanenko assistant dean of the department of ecology and landscape construction, candidate of biological sciences; Julia Bezgina assistant professor of chemistry and plant protection, candidate of agricultural sciences, Svetlana Okrut assistant professor of ecology and landscape construction, candidate of biological sciences; Valeria Khalikova assistant department of ecology and landscape construction; Alina Muradova assistant department of ecology and landscape construction.

The event was held on a positive note. Within 2 hours, participants answered questions from the proposed topics: Round 1 (Category 1 - Adaptation of species, Category 2 - Biological rhythms, Category 3 - Interpopulation relations, Category 4 - Events); Round 2 (Category 5 - Transformation of ecosystems, Category 6 - Man and nature, Category 7 - Environmental laws, Category 8 - World of scientists); Round 3 "Game with spectators"; Round 4 "Globe"; Round 5 "Captains Competition"; Homework "City of the Future". Preparation of the teams was good. During the game the teams scored the corresponding number of points which determined the winner. Team of the 1st course "Ecology and nature management" - "Eco-Alfee".

Intellectual game is held in order to popularize ecological knowledge, development of students' creative abilities and interest in research activities on the study and preservation of the natural environment and human health, as well as the formation of environmental culture.
