Experience in testing new hybrids of sunflower, corn and sorghum of domestic selection was laid at the experimental station of SSAU

As part of the implementation of the Priority 2030 grant in terms of strategic projects on breeding and seed production of crops, employees of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources planted experimental plots to study new hybrids of sunflower, corn and sorghum on the territory of the university's experimental station.

Experience is carried out by candidates of Agricultural Sciences, associate professors Golosnoy Evgeny Valerievich, Korostylev Sergey Aleksandrovich, Drepa Elena Borisovna and Aisanov Timur Soltanovich with the participation of students of the 1st and 2nd year of the direction of Agronomy, under the guidance of the dean - doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences Esaulko Alexander Nikolaevich.

These hybrids are the result of the breeding work of one of the largest breeding and seed companies in Russia - AGROPLAZMA LLC. The regional representative of the company Avdyukhov Aleksey Sergeyevich was present at the bookmark of the experience, who expressed the position of his leadership - the desire for cooperation and the hope for the prospect of joint work with our university in the field of seed production of agricultural crops.

The production of domestic seed material for all cultivated crops is a priority for the development of the agricultural sector in our country. In this regard, the cooperation of scientists of our university with advanced breeding enterprises is of great scientific and practical importance.
