Annual Freshman Ball

Stavropol State Agrarian University hosted the annual Freshman Ball, which was traditionally organized by students from the faculties of agrobiology and land resources, ecology and landscape architecture. This year the theme of the Ball was Russian folk tales. Characters of the famous fairy tales "The Frog Princess", "The Scarlet Flower", "The Flying Ship" and others gathered in one hall. The key participants of the Ball were couples - representatives of all 10 faculties of SSAU, as well as guests and honorary members of the jury.

The holiday is held annually with the support of the dean of the faculties of agrobiology and land resources, ecology and landscape architecture, professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Nikolayevich Esaulko.

The jury included: Elena Vladimirovna Livenskaya - Head of the Department of Cultural and Aesthetic Education of NCFU Students; Sergei Romanovich Nogin - chairman of the primary trade union organization of students of SSAU; Anna Sergeevna Pirumyan - Deputy Director of the Center for Youth Projects; Elena Borisovna Dryopa - Deputy Dean of the Faculties of Agrobiology and Land Resources, Ecology and Landscape Architecture; Vladimir Vitalievich Velichko - Deputy Center for Aesthetic Education of Students, SSAU.

The main competition, in which freshmen were able to reveal their potential, was creative performances, where each couple presented their fairy tale. The festive atmosphere of the Ball was supported by the performances of SSAU creative teams. Among them are Argo and Provence vocal studios, Stylish Things and Evidence dance groups, as well as student solo performances.

According to the results of competitive tests, prize nominations were distributed as follows:

Nomination "Miss and Mister Audience Choice" - Ekaterina Prokopchenko and Denis Papasqua (UFF),

Nomination "Miss and Mister Charm" - Elizaveta Dannik and Andrey Sorokin (EEF),

Nomination "Miss and Mister Elegance" - Anastasia Akimchuk and Mikhail Sarapiy (ITF),

Nomination "Miss and Mister Grace" - Ekaterina Prokopchenko and Denis Papasqua (UFF),

Nomination "Miss and Mister Charm" - Daria Marchenko and Nikita Polonyankin (BTF, FVM),

Nomination "Miss and Mister Artistic" - Daria Parshina and Nikita Shvets (FSKiT).

The victory in the special nomination "King and Queen of Spring", where the originality of the couple's costumes was evaluated, was won by students of the Faculty of Accounting and Finance Ekaterina Prokopchenko and Denis Papaskua.

At the top of the pedestal are the following couples:

– 2nd Vice-Miss and 2nd Vice-Mister — Ekaterina Nikitina and Daniil Dobrikov (FSPO),

– 1st Vice-Miss and 1st Vice-Mister – Yana Budko and Ilya Salov (EF),

Miss and Mister of the Freshman Ball - Tamara Krivoshta and Evgeny Omelchenko (FAiZR, FEiLA).
