Front Light for Veterans in SSAU

After the rally, in the most comfortable place of the university in the Winter Garden, a “Front Light” was held for home front workers, war children, labor veterans. Veterans gather twice annually in this beautiful place on the eve of the New Year at the Blue Light and on the eve of Victory Day at the Front Light.

Here, for the eleventh time, the veterans gathered at this “Front Light” in order to rest their souls and bodies, communicate with old comrades and acquaintances at work, whom they had not seen for a long time, being on a well-deserved rest.

At the beginning of the event, the rector of SSAU Valentin Sergeevich Skripkin addressed the veterans with a heartfelt word, who expressed warm words to them and congratulated them on the upcoming holiday with all his heart.

Leading at the "Front Light" Chairman of the Council of Veterans of SSAU Nikolai Gavrilovich Guzynin gave the floor to many respected veterans: Chairman of the Council of Veterans of the Leninsky District of Stavropol Yu.V. Mitryasov, Major General Maryin V.V., Professor A.F. Dmitriev, Professor Zlydnev N.Z., Professor Starodubtseva G.P., Professor Ismailov I.S., retired Lieutenant Colonel Sereda E.I., Associate Professor Kurchev V.I., Associate Professor Chukhlebova N.S., Associate Professor Solovyov V.V., Associate Professor Bondrachuk V.G., Associate Professor Pantukh M.L.

In their meaningfully interesting speeches, they talked a lot about the university, Victory Day, patriotic education and the need to embody their sacred duty to the participants of the Great Patriotic War in effective work, good studies, in the active life of every Russian for the good of Russia.

In the intervals between performances, wonderful music sounded, exciting and sincere songs about the harsh wartime, performed very well by various creative teams of SSAU.

At the end of such an interesting and wonderful event, which raised the pre-holiday mood to the veterans, the Chairman of the Council of Veterans of SSAU Guzynin N.G. on behalf of the Council of Veterans and the trade union committee of university staff, he presented holiday gifts to veterans.
