Patriotic concert at the Faculties of Agrobiology and Land Resources and Ecology and Landscape Architecture

On the first Victory Day in 1945 there were no parades, no St. George ribbons, no carnations, no Immortal Regiment. All the people came out of their homes, embraced strangers, arranged feasts with songs and dances, and, of course, continued to wait for the return of the surviving soldiers. The whole celebration ended with a grand fireworks display in Moscow. In memory of the victory of our people in the Great Patriotic War, a concert was held at the faculties of agrobiology and land resources and ecology and landscape architecture.

The solemn event was opened by the dean of the faculty, professor Esaulko Alexander Nikolaevich. He cordially congratulated all those present on the Great Victory Day.

A creative group of faculty students prepared a heartfelt and touching concert. The vocal group “Argo”, which has already become famous, performed the musical composition “Mother”, the ensemble of the Cossack song “Lel” delighted with their talents, the artists Chernov Maxim, Alikberova Vera, Kryakvin Daniil, Leonidova Angelina presented wonderful and touching songs and poems of the war years to the audience.

The final performance was the song "Victory Day". With tears in their eyes, teachers and students sang along with the artists. And this atmosphere of patriotism, joy and sadness united all those gathered in the hall, gave an understanding of the unity of our people, a sense of gratitude to the soldiers in the Great Patriotic War.

Victory Day is aimed at rallying the people and reminding them that they once managed to survive the war and defeat fascism. It is worth remembering that Victory Day is not just a holiday of a single country, it is a whole part of world history in which cruel events were put to an end. This is a day that truly brings people together.
