Stavropol State Agrarian University has joined the All-Russian campaign "Scientific Regiment", which is carried out by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
"Scientific Regiment" is a series of publications about students and teachers, about scientists who, during the years of the Great Patriotic War, brought the Victory closer with their military and labor feat.
The main goal of the project is the patriotic education of young people and the preservation of the memory of the Great Victory. Thousands of students, teachers, workers and employees of institutes volunteered to go to the front. Their memory must live on!

Nestor Makarovich Shakhzadov was born on June 6, 1923 in a simple peasant family, where parents instilled love for the land in all children from the earliest years.
The news of the war caught 18-year-old Nestor right at graduation. As an 18-year-old boy, he learned all the horrors of the war when he fell under Taganrog.
All his life, N.M. Shakhzadov worked successfully, was deputy head of the regional Department of Agriculture, worked for 36 years at the Stavropol Agrarian University, is its honorary professor, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, has 85 publications, has trained more than 100 specialists.
We admire the talent of the organizer and devotee of agrarian science, our senior mentor and wonderful man Nestor Makarovich Shakhzadov, his many years of conscientious work, responsible attitude to business! His life is a real example for all of us. The memory of him will forever remain in our hearts and the hearts of future generations!
