Meeting "On the development of innovative activities in the food and processing industry of the Stavropol Territory"

On the basis of the North Caucasus Federal University, a meeting was held on the issue "On the development of innovative activities in the food and processing industry of the Stavropol Territory".

The dialogue was organized by the Stavropol Territory Committee for the Food and Processing Industry, Trade and licensing. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Federal Research Center for Biotechnology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, heads of the INNOFOOD Business Program, business representatives, scientists of the North Caucasus Federal University, scientists of the Stavropol State Agrarian University.

The participants of the meeting proposed to create an innovative profile center by analogy with Skolkovo. This will help to ensure the transfer of knowledge and competencies. Following the meeting, a working group will be created to promote the ideas of science and business. The result will be the practical implementation of innovative and import-substituting technologies.

The possibility of participation of Stavropol businessmen and scientists in the international forum of innovative projects was also discussed at the meeting.
