Within the framework of strategic cooperation with the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, KRKA organized a professional conference for veterinarians, teachers and students on the topic “Private dermatology of small animals”.
The conference was attended by a large number of participants, including practicing veterinary specialists, students and teachers of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
Speakers were:
1. Ruppel Vladimir Vladimirovich - candidate of veterinary sciences; practicing veterinarian, veterinary clinic of neurology, traumatology and intensive care, St. Petersburg. Lecturer and participant in major veterinary events in St. Petersburg, Sochi, Kazan, etc. Author of scientific articles.
Professional interests: dermatology, allergology, immunology. More than 30 years of experience.
2. Vladimir Valeryevich Sotnikov - candidate of veterinary sciences; chief physician of the veterinary clinic of neurology, traumatology and intensive care, St. Petersburg. Chairman of the St. Petersburg Veterinary Society. Editor-in-chief of the "Veterinary Petersburg" Journal. Author of over 130 articles in professional journals. Speaker of Russian and international congresses and conferences.
Professional interests: neurology, traumatology, endoscopy and minimally invasive surgery. More than 18 years of experience.
The lecturers spoke about the features of dermatological diseases of small pets: otitis media, autoimmune skin diseases, allergies to environmental allergens, and also presented the practical skills of surgical methods for treating complex cases of otitis media in dogs and cats.
