Seminar "Optimal use of modern eco-efficient mineral fertilizers and plant protection products in the Stavropol Territory"

The event, the main organizer of which was the strategic partner of the Stavropol State Agrarian University PhosAgro-Stavropol LLC, began with a welcoming speech by Vladimir Borisovich Kovtun, Deputy Head of the Petrovsky City District. Andrey Alexandrovich Tikhonov, General Director of PhosAgro-Stavropol LLC, told the audience about the structure and operation of the enterprise, the main aspects of logistics and pricing.

Head of the Department of Agrochemistry and Plant Physiology, Associate Professor Golosnoy Evgeny Valeryevich made a presentation at the seminar "Optimal use of modern eco-efficient mineral fertilizers and plant protection products in the Stavropol Territory", organized by PhosAgro-Stavropol LLC.

Particular attention was paid to the issues of amendments to the law "On Grain", as well as work in the new system of veterinary control "Cerberus". On this topic, the deputy head of the branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Rosselkhozcenter" in the Stavropol Territory, Olga Viktorovna Kuznetsova, also presented detailed data on the work to protect winter grain crops and gave a forecast of the phytosanitary state of tilled crops in the territory of the region.

Within the framework of the seminar, the head of the Department of Agrochemistry and Plant Physiology of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, Ph.D. Evgeniy Golosnoy, who presented to the participants of the seminar the results of many years of field agronomic experiments. Evgeny Valeryevich showed data on the impact of PhosAgro's innovative mineral nutrition systems on the yield and quality of the main agricultural crops in the region, including cultivated under irrigation conditions. Particular interest to agricultural producers of the region were the results of field experiments with liquid complex fertilizer (LCF), which showed a steady increase in crop productivity under arid climatic conditions.

Representatives of the company "August" and "Spetskhimagro" shared data on the effectiveness of the produced brands of plant protection products and organomineral fertilizers.

The final report was made by the leading specialist in agricultural support of PhosAgro-Stavropol LLC, candidate of biological sciences Kargalev Ivan Viktorovich. Ivan Viktorovich emphasized the environmental aspects of the production of mineral fertilizers by PhosAgro, including the compliance of products with the highest international safety standards.

The event turned out to be very capacious and productive and served as an excellent platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience of leading specialists in the agricultural sector of the Stavropol Territory.
