Training "Dream profession is closer than you think" for FSF students

As part of the implementation of the plan for conducting career guidance activities aimed at promoting the FP "Professionality" and supporting the admission campaign 2022 for the programs of the FP "Professionality" in the Stavropol Territory, a training event "Dream profession is closer than you think" was held at the Faculty of Secondary Vocational Education in SSAU.

In the open public segment, students were given a "fitting profession" in the form of a game quiz. Masters of industrial training, representatives of companies that work in industries implemented within the framework of the FP "Professionality" were invited to the training event.

The participants of the event were introduced to the Stavropol State Agrarian University, its history, faculties and material and technical bases. After that, Roman Vladimirovich Tkachev, the chief expert of the World skills movement in the E53 competency “Operation of agricultural machines”, presented to the children the work of an internal combustion engine, what it consists of, the sequence of its disassembly with a description of each part.

The adjustment of thermal clearances on an internal combustion engine was also clearly demonstrated. The students were able to try their hand at this exercise on their own.

In more detail, the participants of the event examined the engine of the tractor “NTZ 1221”, which was also presented in a section. The guys were able to see the entire piston system. The lecturer paid special attention to the mechanism, explaining in detail why and how the pistons move and how the combustible mixture ignites.

In cut form, a manual gearbox was presented. Gears were shown and what they serve for, how the switching goes and what happens in the process of switching gears.
