The head of the OIS, teacher Cherkashina Galina Alekseevna, together with representatives of VNIIOK - a branch of the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution "North Caucasian FNAC", conducted an on-site lesson on collecting fodder plants for the herbarium and familiarizing themselves with the technologies for keeping sheep.
As part of the lesson, Khonina Olesya Viktorovna, Leading Researcher at the Laboratory of Grassland Forage Production, and Lapenko Nina Grigorievna, Leading Researcher at the Laboratory of Grassland Forage Production at VNIIOK, a branch of the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution "North Caucasian FNAC", showed the correct herbarium collection technique and spoke in detail about each sample collected.
Golembovsky Vladimir Vladimirovich, head of the department of production technology and quality assessment of livestock products, leading researcher at VNIIOK, a branch of the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution "North Caucasian FNAC", showed the trainees how to use a collapsible cage for sheep (patent RU 207255).
Vladimir Vladimirovich also demonstrated in action a universal combined feeder for sheep (patent RU 205961), which differs in that the roughage hopper is made with gratings installed at an inclination of 70°.
