Round table “Ways of development of breeding and industrial poultry farming”

In the Kabardino-Balkar State Agrarian University, in order to qualitatively implement activities and achieve the planned values of the Strategic Academic Leadership Program “Priority 2030”, a round table “Ways for the development of breeding and industrial poultry farming” was held. The organizers were: Republican Agrarian University, Stavropol State Agrarian University, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic and the Kabardino-Balkarian Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Stavropol State Agrarian University was represented by: Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor of the Basic Department of Private Animal Science, Selection and Breeding of Animals Elena Edugartovna Epimakhova, Associate Professor of the Basic Department of Private Animal Science, Selection and Breeding of Animals Evgeny Ivanovich Rastovarov. And also the region was presented by Anatoly Foadovich Shevkhuzhev, senior researcher of VNIOK “SK FNATS”.

The problems of the world and Russian poultry farming, the state and prospects for the development of the industry in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, information and methodological support for the production of poultry products in regional SFEs were considered at the Round Table.

The keynote speeches were made by the participants of the Round Table:

“World and Russian poultry farming; Realities and Challenges of the Future” - Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Scientific Supervisor of the Federal Scientific Center “VNITIP” of the Russian Academy of Sciences Vladimir Ivanovich Fisinin;

“State and prospects for the development of poultry farming in the KBR” - deputy Minister of Agriculture of the KBR Valakhov Timur Alievich;

“Information and methodological support for the production of poultry products in regional farms” - Professor SSAU Elena Edugartovna Epimakhova;

“The main directions of scientific research in the field of poultry farming in the KBR and their role in the development of the industry” - vice-rector for research work of the KBR Abdulkhalikov Rustam Zaurbievich; “The state and prospects for the development of poultry farming in LLC Veles-Agro” - veterinarian of LLC Veles-Agro Dyakova Veronika Sergeevna.
